Glass fusing is the melting of several pieces of glass into a single piece which can be used to create jewelry or other works of art.  Students will learn the basics of glass fusing and slumping including cutting glass, design considerations, stringers, frits, diachronic glass, the use of diamond saws and glass grinders and how to prep, maintain and fire a kiln.

An introduction to nonferrous metal casting techniques.  This course is geared toward casting with an emphasis on jewelry.  Students will learn the entire lost wax process, including preparing the wax form, creating a plaster mold, burning out the wax and casting a piece of jewelry.  Basic wax working and finishing techniques will also be covered as well as the proper use of tools and equipment.

If you can ride a bicycle you can be trained to ride a motorcycle. Both classroom and skills course training in one weekend. With successful completion of class a certificate is issued, which is required for the MVD to endorse your license.

Fee $36
This 8 hr. course is designed for individuals working in the Healthcare Field such as EMT, Nursing, Dental and Physical Therapy Students. It includes instruction in: Adult, Child, and Infant CPR, Obstructed Airway and Automated External Defibrillator (AED). Certification through the American Heart Association.
